Pacton Trailers from Ommen presents the prototype of the first model of their new innovation, the Pacton Inlodoader, on the biennially international trade fair Matexpo in Belgian Kortrijk.

Pacton chose the Matexpo held from 11 to 15 September 2019 in Kortrijk Xpo to present the new inloader to the public for the first time. As the third largest trade fair in Europe, Matexpo welcomes more than 40,000 visitors. It is therefore an extraordinary first for Pacton Trailers.

The Pacton inloader, typified as TXX.345.SBL has been developed especially for the vertical transportation of voluminous precast concrete units. These units are transported in large self-supporting frames from the concrete manufacturer. Pacton’s new inloader picks the frames up from the ground, without the need for hoisting equipment or hoisting tools. With this tri-axial semi-trailer which are metalized by default, it is possible to load and unload quickly, safely and easily even in tight spaces.

Hydraulic and radiographic

The Pacton Inloader has a hydraulic in height adjustable front section, an automatic hydraulic lock at the back and a six-point hydraulic cargo securing. All of these can be operated both manually and radio graphically. The loading length of the new semi-trailer is 9,5 meters and the loading height is 3,7 meters. The total width of the inside of the semi-trailer is 2,55 meters. Special licences are not required with these dimensions.

The semi-trailer is fitted with independent hydraulic wheel suspension and SAF axles with drum brakes that have a technical axle load of 10,000 kg and are legally considered to be 9,000 kg. The first or the third axle can be lifted. The displayed prototype at Matexpo has been fitted with a hydraulic suspension. Pacton is currently also working on an air suspended model.

Pacton Trailers develops, produces and delivers a large variety of pulled building material. The well-known trailer builder from the Dutch city Ommen, is renowned for the high quality, tailor-made semi-trailers. Pacton offers an appealing package of client specific possibilities for the building and gww branches. Sales of the Pacton Inloader are expected to start mid next year. The prototype is currently tested extensively, not only by Pacton but also by clients. Pacton shows more examples of the many possibilities in the semi-trailer transport on their stand (hall 4, stand 443) of Matexpo, for example the extendable trailer and a crane semi-trailer on the outside area outside of hall 4.
